How BeadInvoice handles the information you send us
Last updated: September 4, 2026. This policy explains exactly what the contact form on this site collects, why we hold it, how long it stays, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Who is responsible
The controller of the data described here is MLJ, SASU, the company that publishes BeadInvoice, registered in Paris under SIREN 934 769 837. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. Every request about your data goes to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com and is answered by a person, not by an automated system. Company and hosting details are on the legal notice.
What the contact form collects
The request form on the home page collects exactly the following fields, and nothing else: name, which is your full name; email, your work email address; company, the name of your studio or shop; role, chosen from a fixed list of trade job titles; request, whether you want a demo, early access or a quote; size, the number of benches you run; message, your free text answer about what a commission costs you to quote today; and consent, the checkbox recording that you agreed to be contacted. A hidden field named bot-field exists to catch automated spam and should always be empty. Two further hidden fields, subject and recipient, route the message to the right inbox and contain no information about you.
The form does not ask for a phone number, a postal address, payment details or any information about your clients. Please do not include client names, stone certificate numbers or photographs of client property in the message box: that information belongs inside a BeadInvoice account, not in a marketing enquiry.
Why we hold it, and on what legal basis
We use what you send for one purpose: to reply to your request and to have the conversation you asked for about the product. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a commercial enquiry addressed to us. We do not use these details to build advertising audiences, we do not enrich them with data bought from third parties, and we never sell or rent them.
How long submissions are kept
Form submissions are kept for twenty four months from the date you send them, so that we can follow up on a conversation that started a year earlier and so that we have a record of the consent you gave. After that period they are deleted from the form store. If you become a paying customer, your account records are held for the life of the subscription and then for the period required by French commercial and tax law. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time and we will act on it within thirty days.
Who processes the data
Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and operates Netlify Forms, which receives, stores and forwards every submission made through the request form. Netlify therefore acts as a processor on our behalf and its own privacy terms apply to that processing. Email replies are handled through a standard business email provider. No other third party receives your submission. Subscription billing for customers is handled by our payment processor, which receives only the details needed to take payment.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third party analytics script, embeds no social media pixel and builds no cross site profile of you. There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts when the page loads, which means your browser connects to that service to fetch the typefaces. Netlify keeps standard server logs, including truncated network addresses, for security and abuse prevention.
International transfers
MLJ, SASU is established in France and our hosting provider is established in the United States, so a submission sent from anywhere may be stored on servers located in the United States. Where personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area is transferred, that transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, together with the technical measures our processor applies, including encryption in transit and at rest.
Your rights
If you are in the United States, your state may give you specific rights. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia can ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about them, to give them a copy of it, to correct it, and to delete it. California residents may also ask about categories of information collected and disclosed, and may not be discriminated against for exercising a right. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, so there is no opt out to operate, but you are welcome to send the request anyway and we will confirm this in writing.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, which in France is the CNIL.
To use any of these rights, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with the email address you used on the form. We answer within thirty days and we will not charge you for a reasonable request. We may ask one question to confirm you are the person the record relates to.
Children
BeadInvoice is a business tool sold to jewelry studios and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us something through this site, write to the address above and we will delete it promptly.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Form submissions and customer records are stored encrypted, access is limited to people who need it to do their work, and administrative access is protected by multi factor authentication. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affected your data we would notify you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page and describe what changed. Substantive changes affecting people who have already written to us are announced by email to the address on file. The current version always governs.
