Terms of service for BeadInvoice subscriptions

Last updated: September 4, 2026. These terms govern your use of this website and of the BeadInvoice application. Read them before you subscribe, because using the service means you accept them.

1. Acceptance

By visiting beadinvoice.com, submitting the request form or opening a BeadInvoice account, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of a studio or a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.

2. The service

BeadInvoice is a web application for pricing custom jewelry commissions. It converts wax or finished metal weights into metal cost against a market price feed, records stones with their cost, source and disclosure details, prices bench labor by operation and rate, produces client facing quotes and invoices, requests and records deposits and balances, holds signed approvals at defined stages of a job, and reports quoted against actual margin per piece. Feature availability depends on the plan you subscribe to, as described on the pricing section of the home page.

The metal price feed is provided for pricing convenience and is drawn from published market data. It is not a trading quote, and the price you actually pay your bullion supplier is between you and that supplier. All commercial decisions, including your shop rate, markups and what you charge a client, remain yours alone.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years old and operating a business to hold an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the registration details you give us, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything done under your login. Tell us promptly at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com if you believe an account has been used without your authorization. Where a plan sets a user limit, each named person must have their own login.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BeadInvoice to store or send unlawful content, to misrepresent stone origin, treatment or metal content in a way that breaks consumer protection or trade disclosure rules, to attempt to gain access to another customer's records, to probe or overload the infrastructure, to resell access without a written agreement, or to reverse engineer the application. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other customers at risk, and we will explain why in writing.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The plans are Solo Bench at $29 per month, Studio at $69 per month, and Studio and Retail at $149 per month. All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are established. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on the date you subscribed, by card, and renew automatically for successive monthly periods until cancelled. There is no setup fee and we take no percentage of your commission revenue. If a payment fails we retry it and notify you, and access may be limited until the balance clears.

We may change plan prices with at least thirty days notice by email. A price change takes effect at your next renewal, and you are free to cancel before it applies.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account screen without calling or emailing anyone. Cancellation stops the next renewal and your subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund part months. After cancellation your account stays readable for sixty days so you can finish open jobs and export your records, after which it is scheduled for deletion. We may end an account for a serious breach of these terms, with notice and with time to export data except where the law requires otherwise.

7. Your data

Your commission records, client details, photographs, rates and job history belong to you. We hold them to run the service for you and claim no ownership of them. You can export the full book to CSV, and job documents as PDF, at any time and at no charge. We do not sell customer data, and we do not use your job files to train models. We may use aggregated statistics that cannot identify you or your clients to describe how the service performs.

8. Availability

We work to keep BeadInvoice available at all times and we schedule maintenance outside United States business hours where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and access may be affected by events outside our control, including failures at our hosting provider, network outages or force majeure. Planned maintenance that will take the service offline is announced in advance in the application.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We do not warrant that the metal feed, calculations or reports are free of error, and you remain responsible for reviewing a quote before you send it to a client.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or connected with the service in any twelve month period is limited to the subscription fees you actually paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost commissions, loss of client relationships, or the cost of remaking a piece. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MLJ, SASU against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from content you upload, or from a dispute between you and one of your clients about a piece of jewelry, its disclosure or its price.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or in the law. Material changes are announced by email to account holders at least thirty days before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France. The service is published by MLJ, SASU, SIREN 934 769 837, whose full details appear on the legal notice. Questions about these terms go to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com.
